  • No prior experience is needed for any of the classes in this retreat
  • Each class will adapt to suit your level
  • All participation is optional in any of the classes
  • All offered programs are optional.
  • You will be supported by a team of yogis, meditators, healers and experts in healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Your 8 day retreat, will provide you with a solid foundation and the tools for you to apply to your personal routine, which will instill quiet mind,  energized body and  joyful spirit.

About the classes

  • Asana: Asana is a stead and comfortable posture. Asanas aim at influencing the 3 aspects (mind, body and consciousness). Correct performance Asanas requires participation of one`s whole being. It requires active involvement of one`s entire being as fully as possible.

Below are the Asana classes you will experience in this retreat

  • Vinyasa flow: this is a class for everyone. It doesn’t matter how fit you are, how old you are or how flexible. it’s about learning to love and look after the body you’ve been given. It’s about knowing your limits and then daring to push them a little.will help you achieve health body and mind. This is a challenging class, but think that the best things in life always are.
  • Restorative yoga: A Meditative, gentle movement with a focus on opening postures and simple breathing exercises. We apply props to help in the relaxation of the muscles and connective tissue. In this class you will learn how to unwind, chill out, defrag and loosen up. A soothing, stress-free approach to physical asanas with a loving caring to the body.
  • Yin Yoga: This lunar offering will bring you to embracing the receptive and nurturing warmth of the feminine qualities that blossom from within. Work direct on the connective tissue (Fascial system). Help in finding stillness into postures as a meditative opportunity into self exploration and poetic inspiration. Gives us the opportunity to immerse into svadyaya, or the self understanding. It provides the necessary space to listening and recognizing our inner voice.
  • Meditation: For many people who have never took time out to quiet their mind the word meditation it self can feel intimidating. In this retreat we will offer ways to find an inner peace in both movement and stillness. We invite you to see this as a exploration, so you can experience your experience fully with out the need to judge or feel your doing it wrong. There are many different ways to find peace of mind, and one way doesn’t work the same for all. 
  • Breath awareness: In the Yogic tradition breathing is also known as Pranayama which is the art of various breathing techniques that assist in quieting the mind, healing the body and feeding you with extra energy. The basic fundamental for Pranayama is learning to breath properly, and then slowly bring the focus inwards by watching the breath, which assists in stilling the busy mind.
  • Vocal expression: There is so many ways to express through sound, may it be stubbing your toe and having an organic sound come out , “ouch” or having a full day and feeling overwhelmed releasing with a sign. In the course of this retreat we will use, the modalities of song, toning, gibberish, and allowing organic sounds to arise. For some of us, we were told not to sing and in this various workshops we provide an opportunity to embrace our inner voice and let it release

This 8 night retreat is located at the tranquil location of Michael Franti and Carla Swanson `s Soulshine retreat center in Ubud, Bali. The hardwood floors, open air yoga studio and natural setting offer a clean clear feeling of fluidity.

Pamper yourself in the peaceful  esthetics of the Soulshine Retreat Center surrounded by Balinese culture in Ubud’s majestic rice fields.

The exquisitely designed main building and grounds host a river, tropical garden and several ornate ponds with on-site accommodations. After your yoga practice, enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool and pick fresh fruit from an abundance of mango, jackfruit, banana, mangostein, rambutan, papaya and coconut trees.

Beta is a passionate Brazilian who has been influenced by her culture with dance and moment, allowing her to find an easy flow within the rhythm of life.

At an early age she was introduced to meditation and now make a part of her daily personal practice.

Beta’s compassion and professional touch hold a sacred space for personal growth and spiritual development.

She holds a BPE (Bachelor of Physical Education) and a Masters in Health and Wellness.

Sequoia Henning: ERYT-500 Certified International Yoga Teacher, student, and healing facilitator.

Sequoia has been living, studying and teaching internationally for many years mainly in S.E. Asia, most frequently in India. She is influenced by her passion and love for the teachings of Yoga, Buddhism, the Indigenousness cultures of North/South Americans and Sound healing.

Her life has been a consistent cultivation of spiritual development through personal experiences, practice and ongoing study.  Her core values shine through in her teachings and healing work with integrity, compassion and humor.

Sequoia’s passion for life increased through a personal self healing journey from an illness that changed her perspective forever. Now she shares through inspiring and encouraging others to remember that the power to change comes from the inside out, and starts by cultivating love for one’s own self.

Neno Vittori - Spiritual Seeker, Yoga & Meditation Teacher and Musician.

Pulled by a sincere seek for self development Neno arrived in India 17 years ago, where he followed various yoga courses with masters and teachers from diferent yoga traditons.

After a seeking journey he found himself  fulfilled by the Sivananda tradition as thought by  Swamy Sivananda and later by his disciple Swami Vishnudevananda.

Neno has also been influenced by traditional Hindu, Buddhist and Sufi meditation techniques and also to the more recently developed by the master Osho.

He has been dedication mostly of his time in Buddhist meditation retreats in India, Nepal and Thailand.

Neno has been always in love with music, at the age of 16 he started to play professional Drumkit in Rome. Later on he studied African percussion in Rome, Brazil and Cuba. In India Neno dedicated time in Rishkesh with his music Guru studding tablas and playing devotional music for bhajans in the spiritual context.
