This unique one month, 250 Hour Yoga Alliance Certificate Training will deepen your personal practice and experience an emersion into the depths of yourself for harmonizing the Spirit, mind, and body while integrating a yogic way of life beyond the mat. - Daily meditation
- 8 limbs of Pantajli’s yoga
- Daily Pranaymas and Kriyas
- Methodology, class sequencing and planning yoga classes based on Power, Yin and Restorative Yoga
- Study and practice of Sanskrit names of yoga postures.
- Assisting and modification of pose
- The practice of mudras
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Subtle body anatomy (Chakras and Nadis)
- Yoga Nidra
- Shatkarmas
- Yogic diet

- The Business and Ethics of teaching Yoga
This 250 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Schedule includes 232 contact hours; 26 Days, 8 hours a day, six days a week with 18 noncontact hours for home study, pre-requisite readings and reports. Sundays are Free Days.

The flexible daily schedule is:
6:20 – 10:00 am Meditation, Asana, Kriya and Pranayama Practice
10:00 -11:00 am Breakfast
11:15 -1:15pm lectures
1:15-3:00 pm Lunch
3:30-6:00 pm Yoga Methodology
4:00-6:00 pm evening yoga classes to participate, assist or observe
7:30 – 9:30 pm 3 evening programs per week

Pre-requisites for the course :
Applicants need one year experience on their mat
- Must be physically fit and healthy
- Be a practitioner who wishes to deepen your personal practice and knowledge of yoga
THE COURSE INCLUDES:
- Explore the Yang aspect of Power Yoga, a practice to strengthen, focus, challenge and bring precision to your personal practice and teachings
- The application of Myofascial Release Therapy. Offered in the Yin classes which give support, effective and healing methodology to each class
- Apply the art of adjustment with full awareness in the breath, lines of energy and the five senses
- Nada yoga ( yoga of sound) Chanting, sounding and song
- Learn the Tree of Yoga for clear understanding of the different Yoga schools.
- Experience the teachings about conscious eating.
- Food offered is your choice of raw, vegan or vegetarian for each meal

CERTIFICATION:
All students who successfully complete the course receive an internationally recognized 250 hour Teacher Trainer certificate from Taksu Yoga and Movement Arts and can register with the Yoga Alliance for the 200 hour certificate.
Yoga Alliance requires 200 hours for basic teacher training registration. Yoga Alliance is an international governing board for yoga teachers and training programs in the United States and the rest of the world. Graduates of the Yin and Yang Taksu Yoga and Movement Arts who have demonstrated an understanding of the material and completed all the requirements will be eligible to register as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance. Becoming a RYT increases your status, brings you international recognitions as a yoga teacher and optimizies your opportunities for employment as a yoga teacher worldwide. Beta, E-RYT 500 hours Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainer
Beta has developed a devoted following because of her unique teaching style which blends vigorous Power yoga, deep practice in meditation and Bakti yoga, with a clear understanding of the physical and energetic body. She is a registered yoga teacher with the International Yoga Alliance, and Certified Kids Yoga Teacher Trainer.
Beta brings fourteen years of experience and a lively fresh awareness to the timeless principles of skeletal alignment and muscular engagement that builds strength, skill, and fluidity to support one’s personal practice.
Her passion for Myofascial Release Therapy optimizes the results of her Yin yoga class. Ayurvedic Yoga Massage influences her love for teaching ‘Hands-On’ Adjustments for Yoga Asana. Beta’s compassion, willingness, and professional touch holds a sacred space for your personal growth.
BETA WILL BE ASSISTED BY:
James Newman (E-RYT500hr, Registered Yoga Therapist) is a yoga teacher, anatomy teacher, and bodyworker based in Bali. He’s certified to teach in the Anusara, Kripalu, and Vinyasa Krama styles. Since 2005 he has studied extensively (over 400hrs) as a senior student of Srivatsa Ramaswami – one of the great living masters of the yoga tradition. Ramaswami was the personal student for 30 years of Krishnamacharya, the “Father of Modern Yoga” and guru to BKS Iyengar and Pattabi Jois. James is one of only a few dozen teachers worldwide to be certified by Ramaswami. He is also a graduate of the asana sequencing/adaptation program at KYM – the Krishnamacharya family yoga school. James combines his knowledge of yoga with his insight as a Level 5 CranioSacral therapist to create an integrated, effective approach to deepening your yoga practice.
Sparrow Be (E-RYT 200), is an exceptionally experienced and talented Yoga Teacher and Music therapist “When we create a little space to take a breath, connect, tap into our infinite wisdom and awareness, our inner life reveals what is best for us to live a rich Spiritual life.”
Drawing from the guidance of many teachers, including Yogi Vishveketu from Rishikesh, India; Sparrow offers, with varitation, blended Hatha-flow and Restorative classes, pairing dynamic postures with softness.
Bhakti yogi, music, sound and chanting are a huge part of Sparrow’s practice and life. As a kirtan artist, singer, songwriter, and music therapist she travels all over the world, performing music, sharing the stage with artists such as Dave Stringer, Shantala, Wade Morrissette and many other beautiful talented souls. A third album, this one a kirtan, called Sharanam will be released in this spring of 2012.

Lela Thomas arrived in Bali in 2003. Here, Lela’s exceptional talent blossoms from 40 years of experience with energetic healing, 30 years of teaching yoga, pranayama, and meditation. She developed her own style of bodywork, LightTouch, inspired by her clients reports of the amount of Light they saw when she worked on them.
